Man Jumps to Escape Apartment Fire in Canton, OH

    Canton firefighters made several rescues during the operation.

    A man sustained serious injuries after jumping from a third-floor window to escape flames at a Canton apartment fire who Sunday morning.

    Firefighters found trapped people and the fire extending across the roof line, WKYC reported. 

    Crews rescued two people from their third-story window and treated them for smoke inhalation. During a secondary search, crews found an uninjured man

    There were multiple collapses during operation.

    The cause is under investigation.
